5.4. Changing HelpSpot's Display Language

As of version 5.5, HelpSpot officially supports two languages other than English, German, and Dutch. You can switch between languages by going to Admin > Settings > System and changing the dropdown option for 'Language.'  

Please note that this will change the display language for HelpSpot and your support portal(s).  It will *not* change the language for any existing email templates.  Please get in touch with HelpSpot support if you'd like to do so.

If you're interested in HelpSpot supporting other languages, don't hesitate to contact us to let us know.

Finally, suppose you need to change specific words in HelpSpot.  In that case, you can do that by visiting Admin, Customize, Customize Admin, and then enter the overrides into the "Language overrides" box.   Anything entered in this box needs to be a valid JSON object.  For more information, please read the documentation.
