14.8. Workers

Queue workers, or "workers", perform various unseen background processes for email processing, trigger and automation rules, AI features, and other scheduled activities. Tools for maintaining them are available in Admin > Settings > Workers.
Restart Workers
This action is useful if something seems stuck or otherwise advised by HelpSpot Support as a system remediation.
High and Default Queue Length
Statistics that are useful in evaluating queue health and performance. A large number of either metric (anything consistently above 100) should be brought to the attention of support.
Cache Locks (self-hosted only)
Like "restart workers", the "clear all locks" action in this section is sometimes a useful remediation for "stuck" work.
