4.7. HelpSpot 5 Attachment Storage Location Change

Default attachment storage directory data/documents (e.g. /var/www/helpspot/data/documents has been moved to storage/documents (e.g. /var/www/helpspot/storage/documents.

For upgrades, you should:

  1. Move directories/files from data/documents into storage/documents
  2. Update HelpSpot's configuration to set the Admin > Settings > System > Attachment File System Directory to the storage/documents location, e.g. /var/www/helpspot/storage/documents

The data directory can be deleted in HelpSpot 5+.
